These memory ranges, while unavailable to the OS, are still being utilized by subsystems such as I/O, PCI Express and Integrated Graphics and are critical to the proper functioning of the 酒店工作PC.http://www.synnex.com.tw/asp/newsdetail.asp?topic=IF&classifyid=01790&seqno=17599&page=&listtype=2&csfilter= 近來隨著單條 1GB 容量之記憶體模組上市，在主機板上面插滿四條記憶體總容量 4GB 已經是可能辦到的事了。但插滿 4GB 容量時，實際上在 BIOS 自我偵測畫面卻只顯示 3.XX GB？甚至或者更少？這究竟是怎麼回事？在以下內容我們會針對此問題說明室內設計其原因。由於現行 PC 架構的關係，除了主記憶體外的裝置，例如：BIOS、顯示卡、音效、網路或 PCI 插槽擴充卡等等裝置，皆需要所謂的「位址（Address）」來讓系統存取其相關資料。而這些資源的位址與主記憶體位址是排在同一條線上的，一般時候佔用位址是從最後面 4GB 往前倒數，被佔用的位址大小不一定，是取決於每一台 PC 的硬體設備，有可能是幾百MB到超過 1GB 太平洋房屋不等。當您使用的主記憶體容量不大時，並不會受到影響，一旦安插了最大容量 4GB 時，就會與這些資源佔用的位址發生「重疊（overlap）」。經過 BIOS 的安排，位址仍保留給其使用，反而把主記憶體重疊的部分忽略，結果便會發生開機看到記憶體容量不滿 4GB 的情形。如果需要釐清是否為被系統資源佔用位址的正常現象，有兩種方式建議給您。第一個方法是到主機板 婚禮佈置BIOS 選項裡將 on board 裝置關閉（例如：on board Audio、on board LAN等），然後重新開機便會發現可用的記憶體容量變多了。第二個方法是進入 Windows 作業系統之後，從「附屬應用程式」→「系統工具」→「系統資訊」中查詢記憶體位址被各裝置佔用的狀態，以瞭解主記憶體使用不足 4GB 之原因。主機板廠商BIOS 主要修改內容 : 1. 增加 memory hole remapping 結婚西裝contrl 選項. 2. 修正搭配 NV VGA 卡有時會當機 , 檢測卡停在 "2b".3. 改善搭配 4GB Memory 在 Windows 32bit 環境下誤認為 2GB 的議題(將 memory hole remapping 設定為 Disabled 即可改善). 4. 關閉 memory hole remapping 時搭配某些 VGA 卡 不能進入作業系統 . 關於AM2的Memory (Hole) Remapping功能相信大家都知道，K8以後AMD把記憶體控制器內建到CPU內了，酒店打工但是看過去的939平台，有沒有Memory Remapping，來支援4Gb以上記憶體，好像還要看晶片組行不行；到現在的AM2平台，Memory (Hole) Remapping功能，是看CPU而已，還是依然受晶片組的能力的限制呢?硬體製造廠應該要去修正這樣的問題!! 引用:http://tw.myblog.yahoo.com/jw!tevJn7OYHwG_rz7Hi9QQ5Jnz/article?mid=71
